Questions
Does it really never drop?
Your own connection will still drop at times. When it does, viewers see a backup scene instead of a dead stream, and it returns to your camera by itself. Twitch and YouTube stay connected throughout, because the upload to them comes from our servers.
What can I send from?
Anything that speaks SRT, SRTLA or RTMP: OBS on a PC or laptop, BELABOX, IRL Pro, Moblin, Larix, or a camera with RTMP output.
I already stream with OBS at home. Why use this?
Keep your own OBS for your game and camera, and send its output to us instead of straight to Twitch. If your connection or PC stalls, the hosted OBS Studio shows your BRB scene and keeps every platform connected, then switches back when you return.
Is this the real OBS Studio?
Yes. Each instance runs the open-source OBS Studio, hosted and managed by us. ArcNode is not affiliated with or endorsed by the OBS Project.
Are my stream keys safe?
Destination keys stay on the server: once saved, the panel only shows a hint of them. Input links stay hidden until you ask for them, so they do not leak on a screen share.
Who runs the service?
ArcNode (Asia Pacific) Holdings Limited. We operate the servers the service runs on, and our team looks after it.
